Question: 1998 RV chassis brake problems
I have brake problems on my 1998 RV Chevy chassis. On one occasion the brake pedal went completely to the floor. Luckily I was where I could coast to a stop. The brake fluid was boiling. After waiting for an hour, I had brakes again. I continued on my trip very reluctantly. On another occasion I smelled something burning. Had to be towed to the nearest shop where they replaced the front left brake caliper that had burned up. On another occasion the emergency brake would not release. Many mechanics have not been able to tell be what the problem is. Can anybody out there help me?
