Question: alternator or A/C belt tensioner
The brake light and battery light came on while my car was running, but I could floor the gas pedal and it wouldn’t go… it lurches forward.. and in reverse it lurches backward.. I had it towed home, and the next day tried to start car up and it wouldnt start. It clicked several times but won't start. The accessory light came on, but just clicks when you try to turn it over. My thought is it's the alternator or A/C belt tensioner, but i don't want to replace something and it not be the problem. I don't have a diagnostics reader. Does anyone have any advice?
