Question: my 1991 acura legeng coupe drivers side door won't fully clo

my 1991 acura legend coupe driver side door won't fully close... the hydraulic that works on the passenger door works but on the driver side it doesn't and I am always being told "hey your door is open".... is it the actuator? other than an acura dealership who would be able to repair this?
