1992 Chevrolet C K 1500 Sport Sport Reg Cab 117.5 WB

1992 c1500 Sport Regular Cab Short-Bed "emissions delete" 5.7 liter 350 ci TBI fuel Inj. -- Factory A/C, Tint, Truck-Bed-liner -- The color is Olympic White, Blue interior, High back bucket, bench seat, 700r4-4 s

What I like about this car:
The look, the style, the engine, burning out :) <br>I love the rims, the fact that its easy to replace the water pump, and so many other usually hard to replace parts, the stock stereo is great "but get new speakers" oh I love it at

What I do not like:
Body parts like doors, and truck beds are darn near impossible to find. working on the distributor is tough unless you have a wheel ladder, etc. Some parts are hard to replace.

1988 Chevy S-10 V-6 Regular Cab-Ext Bed 4wd   . . . . .
The Chevrolet S-10 is no longer seen at the Chevy dealers it has been replaced by the Chevy Colorado, The truck had I
think 88,000 miles on it. The truck was used in Vermont so road salt was a problem, there was slight rusting for an 88
the 4wd was exceptional for pulling out stuck motorist in the mud, tree stumps, pulling trees down, Towing even though
its a v6 it can haul!, after it had over 200,000 miles a rock the size of a half dollar went through the radiator but
the truck still ran fine, we towed a 76 monte carlo on a trailer, The 4x4 in the mud was great it has 4 high and 4 low
on the floor never got stuck! Quality was ok the seats get uncomfy after traveling for awhile but other that that not
bad. Ride was decent for a 88 p/u Style could use some euro lights or a paintjob Very reliable truck !!!

Fast as Heck acceleration "Borg-Warner" 5-speed, 5.0 liter swapped to 5.7 600cfm Edlebrock Carburetor - High-Rise
Manifold, Long-tube headers, so not stock! It was Beta! LOL "pros" IT HAS AN AWESOME STEREO SYSTEM ! The heat,
a/c work pretty good ! The car handles great in the turns, Pretty good on gas Keep there value ! "cons" The
doors are kinda heavy when the door spring goes bad "DO NOT" kick it open, it will fly back and it will hurt
!!! "This was not winter car" Engine hard to work on Parts are expensive Not much room under hood Fuseable link
is behind engine when it blows your cars not going anywhere! "mine blew several times" 10 + times Computer controlled !
so smallest "and dumbest thing" can keep it from running properly "map sensor" went out car would stall.

Questions & Answers

A: Repair cost for new motor mounts.?

BEFORE ANY PART REPLACING DO A VISUAL INSPECTION ! LOOK FOR CRACKED, BROKEN, OR HEY I'VE SEEN MISSING MOTOR / TRANS. MOUNT RUBBER, If your planning on getting a mechanic to change the parts check out different shops "hourly rates" Depending on the hourly rate the work could go from $400.00 - $600.00 or more "depends on engine" more mounts = more labor = more money http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_much_does_it_cost_to_replace_an_engine_mount if your doing the work check out http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/home___ or wherever you shop for auto parts should all be under $250.00 (est) depending on the engine you have NOTE: If you shift your car in gear and hear a clunk, bad transmission mount, "WHILE ENGINE IS OFF" can you move the engine by hand? With engine on does the engine vibrate? At a fast takeoff / braking does the engine make a "thump" or thud noise? here is an example of a bad motor mount http://media.photobucket.com/image/are%2Bmy%2Bmotor%2Bmounts%2Bbad%253F/capedcadaver/motor%20mounts/feb%2008%20aftermath/post-removal/IMG_1349.jpg Hope this helped photographermatt
